Recording video has traditionally been accomplished on a dedicated media, such as DVD, VHS, or Blu-Ray discs. While a few of these products still exist, data drives have become more common with users initially recording onto SD cards, CF cards, and SSD (solid state disks). The video can then be easily edited, uploaded to the internet, and produced in bulk to a media device. Similarly, many of these devices can play content back into a video system. One important thing to keep in mind with video recorders or playback devices is HDCP copyright protection. Please contact us if you have questions.
