The A640’s built-in hi-res display presents your mix settings in one of three views—Channel View, Mix View, or Names View.
Channel View displays full detail for the selected channel—volume, mono/stereo pan, treble, bass, and effects (EFX) level. Use the right encoder to adjust the channel’s volume and the left encoder to fine tune other channel parameters.
Mix View shows an overview of all volume levels in the current mix, including the Ambience mic channel. Mix channels can be quickly selected with the left encoder and their volume adjusted with the right encoder.
Names View provides an easy way to see the text labels for all channels. Channel names can be automatically synced from a Dante network or entered manually. Mix channels can be quickly selected with the left encoder and their volumes adjusted with the right encoder.
Create a custom channel layout that’s perfectly suited to each performer. Enhance your mix with the per-channel treble, bass, and effects controls. And each A640 can send any or all of its mix channels to the dedicated mono Aux Mix output to easily add bass shakers, subs or wedges.
When used with Aviom’s powerful D800 products, the A640’s Intercom allows you to communicate with other A640 users with just the touch of a button. Once your mix is refined, store it as one of sixteen mix presets that are instantly available during your performance. Save the entire band’s configurations to a USB memory stick for easy recall in shared systems.
