The 4488 CORE Directional Headset Microphone provides an open, natural sound and is ideal for spoken word and vocal applications. Provides excellent off-axis rejection in high SPL situations. It efficiently removes distant sound sources, making it ideal for demanding live performance environments where background noise and feedback are critical. Bass response is designed for optimal linearity at a distance of 2-3 cm (1 inch) from the sound source. This means the bass roll-off is relatively far away. This is a crucial factor in suppressing background noise and avoiding feedback.

The headset frame is made of stainless steel with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, making it extremely durable. It can withstand high temperatures and is impact and wear resistant. The frame is one size and has a simple adjustment mechanism for quick and easy sizing. Anatomically correct, its unique shape allows it to fit snugly and comfortably around your head. Thanks to the coating, the entire mic has a pleasantly matte look, making the entire headset appear smaller and less obtrusive than other headset solutions. In addition, PVD is extremely durable and at the same time extremely thin, which does not increase the size of the microphone.
