The microphone is a discreet solution that provides a highly directional pattern with low self-noise and high sensitivity. Even if the choir is singing loudly, the microphone can deliver a natural sound without distortion. Additionally, singing into the side of the mic (off-axis) still provides a great sound without distortion, delivering a quieter level with a natural balance between the closest and farthest singers.

Additionally, a swivel joint with built-in shock mount connects the vertical and active boom rods, and together with the gooseneck on top, gives you complete control over mic placement. Out of the box the mic capsules are angled right out of the box and can be positioned to sit at a 90° angle above the choir. This ensures that the microphone does not block the audience's view. A gooseneck allows you to adjust the specific orientation of the microphone capsule.

Finally, the 4097 can be used wirelessly or wired. Internal cable routing on the underside of the pole terminates in a MicroDot socket and comes with his XLR adapter for wired operation. Or you can use it with a regular wireless transmitter (sold separately) and an optional wireless adapter. This gives you great flexibility on stage, especially when you have multiple choir mics in the same room.
