The DPA 6061 CORE is a compact, moisture-resistant lapel microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance and stage applications. The low-sensitivity condenser capsule can handle even very loud performers to deliver crisp, clear and intelligible voices. The mic's 3mm size is easy to hide in clothing or costumes, making it well-suited to the needs of professional presentations, stage and stage work, and television, film and video production.
The 6061 scales DPA's CORE technology to a size that's 60% smaller and still delivers wide dynamic range and ultra-low self-noise for exceptional sound quality. An included capsule guard protects the mic element and provides smooth, subtle 4dB gain between 8 and 20kHz, slightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity. The cover can be removed for cleaning and attached to the microphone with a click that can definitely be felt and heard.
With an SPL rating of 144dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling vocalists, presenters, and even very loud speakers. The 6061 CORE is powered by a 5-10V plug from the wireless transmitter and features a modular design that utilizes Microdot output connectors and separately available adapters.
