Mix Two Balanced Mic or Line-Level Signals Into One
The Radial Engineering Mix 2:1 is a passive mixer that combines two audio signals into one mono output. It has separate inputs to balance the two signals if one is louder than the other and a polarity switch input 2 if one of the signals is out of phase. The unit accepts balanced 1/4" and XLR inputs, delivering a single XLR output.
Each input can be turned on or off. That way you can listen to both signals before you decide to combine them. Both level controls can be replaced at any time thanks to a switch on the front panel. If you hear buzzing or buzzing from the ground loops, a ground switch is included to alleviate the problem. The 2:1 Mix is completely passive, requires no power to operate, and features military-grade RFI-shielded circuitry and a durable 14-gauge steel chassis.
