The Radial Engineering StageBug SB-5 is an ultra-compact passive direct box designed for DJs, musicians and performers who need a simple and reliable solution to connect a smartphone, tablet or laptop to a PA system, mixer or audio interface. Equipped with two custom wound transformers, it reduces hum and hum and allows for long cable runs.

The StageBug SB-5 features a 3.5mm TRS stereo mini-jack on the included 5-inch cable, allowing you to connect it directly to your cell phone. Outputs include two 1/4" TRS connectors and a balanced 3-pin XLR connector. The stereo and mono connection feature allows easy routing from a stereo source to a mono mixer channel. Use the -15dB control to avoid distortion when dealing with high-powered content such as master tracks.

Thanks to its passive design, the StageBug SB-5 requires no batteries or phantom power. It has a ground switch to prevent annoying noise from ground loops. The integrated hooks on the side panel enable convenient and neat cable management.
