Part of the 500 Series, the Radial Engineering X-Amp 500 Reamper Module allows you to send pre-recorded guitar tracks back through your amps and effects, so you can customize the sound to suit your needs. Focus on your performance while recording. Refinement of specific sounds and optimal mic placement can be done later. This eliminates hours of tedious repetition and allows producers to adjust the track's character as production progresses.

X-Amp is easy to use with its plug-and-play functionality. The design starts with a balanced XLR line level input on the back of the 500 Series that feeds the X-Amp. 100% discrete Class A circuitry is used to ensure high fidelity. The X-Amp unbalances and buffers the pre-recorded signal and feeds it into two transformer-isolated Hi-Z guitar level outputs. The 1/4" jack is front mounted for desktop convenience and is equipped with a ground lift to eliminate hum and hum caused by ground loops. Independent level controls allow you to tune each amp's drive for optimum tone. If either amplifier is out of phase, press the 180° button and both amplifiers will instantly match.

A separate output control makes it easy to set your guitar amp to the right level from the control room. A 180° polarity reversal makes both amplifiers play in phase. The X-Amp allows him to send pre-recorded tracks to two amps simultaneously. This makes it easy to fine-tune which tracks are best suited for recording. Guitar cables can be extended up to 50 feet (15 m) without noise. Re-amping is often used on guitars, basses, and keyboards to create effects, enrich the sound, or simply replace poorly recorded tracks.
