New Standard for IP Controllers

The number of control devices that can be added to a Symetrix-based system increases significantly with the IP and PoE based W Series remotes. The new W Series remote controls feature an OLED display, specific knobs and buttons, and standard IP communication over Ethernet to create a single, standardized infrastructure. They are available in US and EU sizes.

The controls of the W Series, which are offered in four configurations, can be used for ComposerTM-based Symetrix DSP source selection, volume control, mute, and preset recalls.

The W Series remotes, which are excellent for House of Worship, hospitality, education, performance/live sound, and conference rooms, have raised the bar for IP controllers in terms of both functionality and general build quality.

W1

Features a push button encoder and display. The encoder can operate in a continuous (as in a volume control) fashion. The push button can toggle a binary or momentary action (as in a mute or preset recall) or toggle between two encoder assignments.

W2

Features four momentary buttons and display. Programming features are similar to the ARC-SW4e, however updates include the ability to designate an arbitrary contiguous number of buttons as a radio button group while allowing the remaining buttons to be assigned to individual functions.

W3

Features a push button encoder, four momentary buttons, and display. Provides expanded “Select and Set” functionality, multiple encoder modes, and encoder menu select.

W4

Features a push button encoder, eight momentary buttons, and display. Expands the functionality of the W3 to include up to eight different assignments for “Select and Set”, radio groups, and individual buttons. (Only available in US form factor)
