The re-designed baffle provides a subtle extension to the waveguide effect for additional sonic benefits.
The CMS 503DC uses a 130 mm (5 inch) Dual Concentric driver, featuring treated multi-fibre paper pulp cone and a 20 mm (0.79 inch) PEI dome HF compression driver with Torus Ogive waveguide. Driven by a single powerful magnet, the new CMS 503DC driver offers a true 90 degree conical dispersion pattern across its 70 Hz – 54 kHz (PI Backcan version) response and 89 dB/Watt sensitivity. The driver is capable of handling 120 Watt programme material with 240 Watt peaks for longevity under even the harshest usage conditions.
