The Allen & Heath CQ18T is a compact digital mixer with 96kHz FPGA processing, built-in Wi-Fi for wireless control, and SD/USB audio capture and playback, making it the ideal mixing and recording mixer for bands, producers, and AV rental houses. It can be used as a main mixer in small venues and as a sub mixer for large stages.
The CQ18T mixer features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen interface for easy navigation and control of the robust mix engine, including Gain Assistant, Feedback Assistant, FX Assist, Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM) and more to help make your mixes sound their best. Control the full range of channel strip effects such as EQ, compression, and gate available on each channel, and set up multiple submixes for monitoring and effects. The CQ18T features 16 mic/line XLR/combo XLR 1/4" inputs, a pair of balanced 1/4" TRS inputs, 2 main XLR outputs, and 6 1/4" mix outputs. There are also two assignable headphone outputs. The mixer comes with a 12V DC power adapter.

Every input channel on CQ can be switched between two modes. Quick Channels offer instrument and application specific processing with the ability to dial in a full channel of processing via a single knob. Need more precise control? Complete Channels will give advanced, in-depth tweaking of parameters.
Gain Assistant
Setting the correct amount of gain for each channel isn't the most exciting task, and it quickly eats into your setup time with multiple channels to take care of. CQ's Gain Assistant quickly and accurately sets the optimal gain level for one or multiple input channels and continues to monitor levels during the performance to prevent any nasty peaks or surprises.
Feedback Assistant
CQ's Feedback Assistant automatically detects and eliminates problem frequencies using up to 16 filters per output so you can mix with confidence and say goodbye to any feedback issues.
New Breed of Effects
CQ introduces a new suite of high-quality, user-friendly reverb, delay and modulation algorithms with instrument-specific presets for speedy setup. Selected units feature a new FX Assist tool, automatically shaping the effects and dynamically responding to your input signal to ensure your mix is enhanced by FX, not overwhelmed.

CQ18T gives the user all the tactile control you need to get around the interface efficiently. 7" touchscreen and rotary control make it simple to set up and get mixing, and 3 Custom SoftKeys let you access commonly used functions at the push of a button. Connect a router or access point and the free CQ MixPad app also gives you full control of your mix from anywhere in the venue.

CQ-18T gives you all the connectivity you need to get going with 16 mic/line inputs plus a stereo line input. When it comes to outputs, there’s a pair of main mix outputs plus 6 outputs for monitor mixes – enough for the whole band – and two headphone outputs are provided which can be assigned different mixes, perfect for recording.
Automatic Mic Mixer
