Powerful Instrument Mic to Handle the Loudest Sources

DPA's CORE 4099 Instrument Microphone (Extreme SPL) is designed to capture audio from instruments for live sound and studio recording scenarios. The clamp mount can be adjusted single-handedly and is optimized to gently wrap around the instrument to prevent damage or marking.

The Core 4099 features a pre-polarized supercardioid condenser capsule. The gooseneck allows for a variety of flexible placement options. The mic terminates with a 5.5" gooseneck and MicroDot connector. Cables and XLR adapter are included, providing compatibility with mixers and other sound reinforcement systems.

This one mic model can amplify an entire orchestra amazingly. You can move the mic to another instrument. Make sure you have the right type of clip for proper attachment. The award-winning 4099 series offers a far more natural sound than any clip-on microphone. This instrument condenser microphone suppresses unwanted noise and accurately captures the true voice of acoustic instruments.

4099 CORE is availble in two versions. Loud SPL (red marking on gooseneck) and Extreme SPL (yellow marking on gooseneck). Loud SPL is focused for close-mike situations on most types of instruments. Extreme SPL is used to close-mike extremely loud instruments, such as drums and some brass.

The 'None' option does not include a cable or adapter.
