Get Your Signal Across Long Distances In the Venue

The Radial Engineering Catapult TX4 is a 4-channel snake that allows you to run 4 XLR connections over long distances using Cat 5 or Cat 6 cables with little to no signal degradation. As such, it is useful for live sound reinforcement applications as it allows live sound stage engineers to ensure high quality audio connections on large stages and venues using relatively affordable cables. It is also suitable for system providers who now have the ability to transmit audio in different rooms using pre-wired networks.

Catapult TX4 offers four XLR input jacks and four transformer-balanced XLR pass-through outputs for routing analog or AES audio to other compatible sources. You can also see two RJ45 type Ethercon connectors. One output for use by RX4 on the receive side. The other is through channels, which can be implemented to route signals to additional catapults. A ground lift switch helps eliminate noise problems on Cat 5 lines. A steel handle also makes it easy to carry, and four bumpers protect the Ethernet jack and ground lift switch from wear and tear.
