Drive Your Amp At Quiet Levels
With the Headload Prodigy, you can dial your amp to the right spot, keeping output levels under control to maintain optimal sound during performance, recording and practice. The Prodigy can send 25%, 50% or 100% of the signal from the amplifier head to the speaker, or can be used to record completely silently without a speaker. This is especially useful in small venues where a stage speaker can conflict with the room sound, and is also great for quiet recording where you want to take advantage of the distortion of a "high powered" amp without disturbing the neighbors. The balanced DI output features Radial's popular JDX Reactor circuitry, which mimics the tone of a 4x12 half-stack for realistic, coherent sound when connected to a PA or recording jack.
