ProAudio.com is committed to appropriately and consistently collecting tax for all states where we have created a nexus. As of right now, this is not all states that collect tax, but we try to keep the following list updated. Unlike many national retailers, we are also committed to collecting the proper exemption paperwork for each state. Each state has different reasons for exemption and different paperwork. The following is our collection as best we can maintain.
For your convenience, where possible, we have included links to fill and submit forms electronically. Please keep in mind that exemptions often require fully complete paperwork and in many cases validation from state records. We realize that this may seem difficult, but once you are setup this often goes fairly painlessly. If you have questions, please reach out to your account manager or contact us.
States We Collect Tax In:
- Arizona
- The State of Arizona collects what they term a Transaction Privilege Tax from vendors. They do not provide exemption for churches and other non-profits, but do allow for exempt sales to resellers (who are setup to collect tax in Arizona) as well as some government and other entities.
