Z/IPStream R/1 combines audio processing with MP3 and AAC encoding in one convenient single-rack unit, along with dual-stream encoding for simultaneous output of high and low bitrate streams, or of different encoding methods (such as MP3 and AAC). The audio processing section, featuring Omnia pre-processing tailored to selected output bit-rates, is comprised of wideband AGC, a 3-band compressor/limiter, EQ, low-pass filter, and a precision look-ahead final limiter. The encoding section supports MPEG Layer III, AAC-LC, HE-AAC, and HE-AAC v2 formats, as well as support for Adobe RTMP, and RTP streams (including RTP multicast).

Processed, encoded audio is then fed to your streaming replication service; Z/IPStream R/1 works with all popular streaming distribution platforms such as ICEcast, SHOUTcast v1 & v2, Wowza, Live365, LimeLight, and Akamai servers. Streams can also be “tagged” with “now-playing” information received from automation systems.Z/IPStream R/1 is fully managed and configured remotely with a web browser. Analog and Livewire I/O are standard. Auto-ranging power supply, 90 – 132 / 187 – 264 VAC, 50Hz/60Hz. 100 Watts. Rackmount, 1RU. Replacement for part # 2001-00254
