The Williams FM 557 is an FM Plus large-area dual FM and Wi-Fi assistive listening system with (4) FM R37 receivers. The new FM Plus integrates professional WaveCAST Wi-Fi audio server technology into a Williams Sound FM assistive listening system. End users can now listen with either an FM receiver or with their smartphone (via the WaveCAST Listening App). Along with this flexibility comes exceptional audio quality, as the FM Plus is built on a professional digital audio (DSP) platform.

The FM Plus uses the WaveCAST app to provide an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface. It is available on iOS or Android. Listeners easily select channel and volume level once their device is connected to the Wi-Fi network. The app does not work on FM Broadcasts.

True professional audio interface

The new FM Plus is designed to support those who want to use their smartphones and headphones for a more discreet assistive listening experience. Simplicity is also available for those who want a more traditional assistive listening system with a dedicated FM receiver and headset. Venues no longer need to choose between providing FM or Wi-Fi assistive listening systems. FM Plus supports both the new iOS and Android WaveCAST Apps -- in addition to all of the current and legacy Williams Sound FM receivers operating on the 72-76 MHz bandwidth.

The FM Plus can have most settings changed via the front panel interface or the hosted web interface. A remote programming guide is available upon request.

FM Receiver

Flexible and simple. The FM R37 receiver features easy-to-use, seek-button channel selection with access to 17 pre-set wideband frequencies between 72-76 MHz. Digitally synthesized for even greater audio clarity and stability. A versatile 3.5mm stereo/mono jack allows for a variety of earphone and headphone options and is neckloop/telecoil-equipped-hearing-aid compatible.
