Leadership here at ProAudio.com (Crouse-Kimzey) wants to address the very over-arching news story that’s affecting us all. We are very aware of COVID-19 and are wanting to help in any way we can with the temporary changes it’s making in our society.

We want to start by saying we are planning on remaining open for business for the foreseeable future. Since we are a small company and have employees who are affected by things like school closures or health concerns of their own, we may have some slight differences in how business is operated day-to-day. You probably won’t notice these for the most part, but please know that if you hear a kid in the background or have a little trouble reaching a specific person, we are people too and are trying to juggle these sudden adjustments to daily life as well. We also will be asking our employees to monitor their own health and be overly cautious with any symptoms. Please have a similar respect for us (and everybody else for that matter), and stay home if you exhibit any symptoms. In this sort of climate, we know that your business may be affected as well, and we want to make every reasonable effort to help you through this process. If you need anything handled differently than normal (invoices emailed rather than mailed, some additional specification info that you normally have at your desk, or anything out of the ordinary), please feel free to ask. As a small business we have the flexibility to change our processes as needed.

One of the things that we feel strongly about is that this is a time for us as humans to work together and try to continue to live and thrive, rather than to live in fear. We want to encourage everybody to follow CDC and other government requirements and recommendations, however, those don’t recommend for everybody to avoid accomplishing things, being connected, or missing out on things like worship or community. The amazing changes in technology, even in the last 10 years, have made it where we can use the internet and technology to continue conducting business from the safety of homes or offices, to meet with friends and loved ones from a distance even if they are sick, or to worship from the security of our couches or beds rather than in pews. Our employees and families are planning to keep living life, and regardless of how, we want to encourage everyone we can to do the same.

We even hope that this may actually help in the long run as this presents an opportunity to implement changes and solutions that could help even when society has returned to normal, to make it feasible for parents of young children to continue to work even when they stay home, to allow churches to better minister to those who are not able to attend services or activities, and to allow businesses to save time and money on travel for meetings that can be conducted as effectively through modern conferencing. A lot of this is already taking place, but this gives us the opportunity to further learn from using these technologies on a daily basis.

ProAudio.com can be a resource for a lot of the technology used in these applications. While we are perhaps better known for our work with radio stations, live performance venues, and for portable or installation products; we have access to all sorts of products that can assist you in live streaming solutions, video conferencing, or with better audio for those sorts of applications. We are gearing up with resources and products in these lines and aren’t only interested in supplying the products, but assisting our customers in planning their solutions and working through learning new products. Even where we may be learning some of the details ourselves, we have numerous resources available to us through our network of vendors. We even have a great network of resellers and integrators that we can help connect you with to help with installation and setup.

It's our goal over the coming days and weeks to present ideas and products that can help you meet needs during this time. Please feel free to offer us feedback of your experiences, ideas, or guidance. We want to help everybody during this and will be quick to share with others information that’s shared with us. Also know that we will be quick to recommend solutions even if we can’t get them or don’t carry them ourselves. Our goal is to help provide solutions, not just to turn a profit.
